[Mobilitydb-users] MobilityDB 1.1 alpha released

The MobilityDB team is happy to announce the release of MobilityDB version
1.1 alpha.

We plan to release 1.1 when the currently ongoing packaging for Debian and
YUM is finished. For more information, please refer to the mailing lists
pgsql-pkg-debian and pgsql-pkg-yum.

Please be aware that the binary format has changed from 1.0 to 1.1 so it is
necessary to reload the databases containing columns using MobilityDB types.
However, on the positive side, MobilityDB provides a much more powerful and
optimized backend with many enhanced possibilities for doing mobility
analytics.
