[Newsletter] ML and wiki for Editors only?

Hello, 

probably a rather philosophical question.

In the "call for articles" Tyler told people to change the wiki and/or 
subscribe to the ML.
But I don't know if people really visit/change a wiki and/or subscribe to a 
ML - I would be too lazy and would prefer to easily write an e-mail to the 
respecitve Edt.

I would suggest to keep the wiki and the ML only for Editors and assissting 
persons (e.g. Markus) and setup a page (non-Wiki) where instructions, 
contacts of Edt., templates, already released volumes etc. can be found. 

what do you think?
