[Journal] introduction

Hello list, my name is Erik and I work on and help "steer" the
OpenLayers project (http://openlayers.org). I saw Tyler's post about
the peer editing and whatnot and thought it might be a good
opportunity to get more involved in the community and to learn some
new GIS bits along the way.

I haven't any valid degrees in english or grammar, but I was the
official editor of this book:
(http://www.somethingconstructive.net/jamanta/), and rather enjoyed
it.

Given my current professional committments, I don't have a _lot_ of
free time, but I would like to help out.
