Thanks for all of the responses. I think we are starting to get a good
picture of where we stand with Volume 6. I will summarize for
everyone's benefit.

Tyler Mitchell:
- Editorial (Status: Estimated Completion by 2/5)

Jason Fournier:
- International Symposium and an International Information Workshiop
at FOSS4G (Status: Unknown)
- Summer Course on FOSS4G (Status: Uknown)

Micha Silver and Martin Wegmann:
- Grass Image Processing Environment (Status: Not Assigned Section Editor?)
- SEXTANTE: A Free Platform for Geospatial Analysis (Status: Ready for
LaTex Conversion)
- SAMT: Spatial Analysis and Editing Tool (Status: Not Assigned Section Editor?)
- gvSIG is a Viable Robust Alternative to Commercially Available GIS
Packages (Status: Section Editor Review Complete 2/4)

Zachary Woolard
- Why Every Open Source Project Needs A Dictator (Status: Review In Progress)

Zachary Woolard, Rafal Wawer, and Daniel Ames
- Using User-Centered Design and Open Source Technology to Redevelop a
Web-GIS (Peer Review 2/3 Complete)

We haven't heard from Jason on the news section. Let me send him an
e-mail directly. I would also like to see if Daniel Ames still wants
to participate in the peer review process for the article that has
already been reviewed by Rafal and Zachary.

It looks like we will have two (2) articles ready for conversion to
LaTex by the end of this week. I will coordinate the start of this
work with Tyler and our LaTex handlers.

Thanks for checking in and for the good work!

Landon
