[Journal] It really is coming.. Volume 8 update

Lots of good clean up going on even though I've been quiet.  Give me a few more days and we should be all set!  

I threw a few of my harder questions to a latex guru that's also working on it for a few hours for me to wrap it up quickly - so if you see anything that needs attention, let me know!  If I can't squash the bug, I'll ask him to help :)
