Hi Arnalie,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the late reply. FOSS4G was occupying
my time last week.

We already have an OSM panel planned for the event and I think it would
make sense to incorporate some of your questions into the discussion. We
could also organize a birds of a feather to create a space where everyone
can participate in the discussion. I'm happy to take this on given I
already have my hand up for the OSM panel.

One topic that relates to governance is the idea of paid positions. OSM US
has done this incredibly successfully and their productivity since taking
on paid staff is worth reviewing. This helps to address the ebb and flow of
volunteer communities that can make it hard to sustain and build on
momentum.

All this to say, I support the conversation and would love to incorporate
it into the conference.
