Ben Searle of OSDM has been invited to present a report and to be a witness
(if that's the right word) before the enquiry "given the relevance of the
Inquiry's ToR to activities of the Office of Spatial Data Management..."

His report looks at the impacts of open access in Australia and what the
experience has been overseas and looks at the use of open source and open
content licencing.

Are you aware of this, and if so, are you able to provide any background 
with regards to Vic Gov involvement and suggest any actions that OSGeo 
should take?
