IMO:


Do we have any budding graphic artists out there who'd like to have a go 
at putting together a logo for OSGeo-AustNZ?



I'd say that the only pre-requisites would be that:

- we should include the OSGeo compass prominently within the design

- the design should be simple, allowing for reproduction as an icon, on a 
letter head, website etc.

- the design being immediately recognisable as relating to AustNZ.

(...anything relating to underarm bowling will be ignored   ;-)  (for our 
overseas subscribers, its an 'in' joke relating to a shameful incident in 
our distant past.) )




For the privilege of preparing this design, you will receive your 
community's grateful admiration.
