Hi Cameron
As someone who has come into the GIS field (in my case into the GNSS [1]
side of things), from the ICT world, I'd be interested in what you come up
with. Will there be anything focussed on beginners, new entrants to the
area?
[1] GNSS = Global Navigation Satellite Systems (incorporates GPS and
GLONASS and others)
Kind Regards,
Hamish Taylor

Anti,
It is timely that you ask this question, as LISAsoft is right now in the
process of defining training for GeoServer and a few other popular
Geospatial Open Source applications.
I'm interested to hear thoughts from you and others on what you would
like to see covered in such a training session, and get an idea for the
profile of staff members you would wish to send to such training courses
so that we can target our training appropriately.
