Ditto - the list may not be active, but FOSS GIS in NZ & Australia is active & growing and having a local list is useful.

I appreciate the local list, light as it may be.  I no longer have time
to follow the main OSGeo list properly <guilty feeling>, but if anything
local pops up I like to see it even if I'm not active on the list.
