Title: TheGoodDocsProject



* Docs for Open Source projects has received a boost of attention this year.

* Google has launched a Season of Docs initiative to bring together open
source and tech writer communities. OSGeo has had two senior tech writers
allocated to us.

* A spin-off SeasonOfDocsProject has kicked off, being driven by a bunch of
senior tech writers and some OSGeo folks. It is building writing templates
and writing instructions for open source projects.

* And there have been new blood and revitalisation of doc activities in
QGIS, GeoNetwork and OSGeoLive projects.



In this presentation we will summarise what has been happening in these
initiatives, and provide guidance on how use the expertise of these
communities in your project.
