Membership Protection

Hi Everyone

I've got a bit lost with the Constitution and where its acceptance is at.
The Constitution that was put forward a few weeks ago - has that been
adopted yet or is it waiting on ratification at the Wellington conference?
If not yet in place then should there be something in the membership
conditions that indemnifies members to that limit of $1 mentioned in  the
Consitution document? Otherwise there is no protection at present for
joining members.

Also why are existing members of committees ( present non-members)  offered
only General Membership? Don't they qualify for Charter Members?
