[OSGeo Oceania] OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF) Oceania Representative

Hi everybody, a few weeks ago we released a newsletter and posted in some
channels as we were looking for the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF) Oceania
Representative for the term 2024/25. This volunteer position, hosted by the
OSGeo Oceania board, is an opportunity for a dedicated OSM enthusiast to
make a significant impact over the next ~11 months. And I personally think
it would be quite important to have someone from our region who can explain
our needs, limitations, resources etc to the wider community.

Unfortunately no one has replied and submitted their expression of interest
and we are now looking to a vacant spot for the year. That would be such a
loss for our community!

So, if you or someone you know is passionate about OSM and interested in
taking on this role, please let us know ASAP, Nominations closed on the
26th of July but there is still time to make an impact!
