[OSGeo Oceania] Conference Logo Winner

The 2024 FOSS4G SotM Oceania Conference<https://2024.foss4g-oceania.org/> will be held at the C3 Conference Centre from November 5 to 8, 2024.

Results of Community Vote for our Conference Logo
So the votes are in and we have a winner! The logo which was designed by Cholena Smart from Perth in Western Australia and received the most votes from you all. Thank you to all those who took the time to submit a logo, it was pretty close in the end, but there can only be one winner.
You will see the logo (and several variants) appearing now in communications as the conference approaches. It will help us inform our style and we feel it really helps us represent our Oceania community of islands here in the South Pacific.

Call for papers and workshops
The program committee has received 9 presentation proposals already indicating that the Conference is on the radar. Have you got an interesting project, product or story that involves FOSS4G or OpenStreetMap? Come and share it with your community in Hobart this year.

Travel Grant Program
OSGeo Oceania is pleased to announce that it is again providing a Travel Grant Program (TGP) to facilitate accessibility and diversity at the FOSS4G SoTM 2024 Oceania Conference. You will find below more details about who is eligible, the type of grant tiers you can apply for, where to submit your application, and who to contact if you need assistance with the process.  Applications will be accepted until midnight on the 30th June 2024 (AEST Standard Time).
