Hi Cezar,
Your gaps are caused by not mosaicking the sets of images before running
them through gdal2tiles. You'd need to use gdalmerge prior to gdal2tiles
and be sure to set your no-data value in order to set the overlap rule.
Otherwise what you get is the transparent values in one mosaic overwrite
the values in the images below.
