[OpenGeoscience] OpenGeoscience Report for FOSS4G / Dar

Hi all,

to follow up on Astrids post, should collect noteworthy developments within the OpenGeoscience community during the last year.

My two cents are:
- Hosting of EGU Townhall 2018
- Representing FOSS4G within the Enabling FAIR data - project
- MOU with AGU
- discussions leading to the development of the g.citation GRASS add-on module (in the context of scientific citation / FAIR / Open Science)
- (MOU with TIB) -> better to be listed at some other place ?
- Representing OSGeo at the second NSF workshop in preparation of a US Geospatial Software Institute (GSI)

Since Dar is just a few days away,  it would be great if you all could provide your input by Sunday August 26
