[OpenLayers-Dev] ANN: OpenLayers 2.2 RC 2

The OpenLayers Development Team is proud to announce release candidate
2 of OpenLayers 2.2. There are currently no outstanding issues with the
2.2 branch, and if no issues are reported, this will become the final 
2.2 release.

Fixes in this RC include:
  * Yahoo! Maps now included in default single file build
  * Inclusion of Tim Schaub's Layer.Image 
  * Fix tile.clear() calls that got overrun during removal of Prototype.js 

To test 2.2-rc2 in your applications, include the following tag in
your OpenLayers-powered page:

  <script src="http://openlayers.org/api/2.2-rc2/OpenLayers.js"></script>

Bug reports can be filed in Trac, under the 2.2 version and milestone.
