If you are using the svn trunk you can play with a WFS layer.
You should look at the examples/openmnnd.html for how to set it up.
There are still some bugs in some of this code and Christopher et al 
have been providing excellent support. It would be good to get someone 
else testing and reporting issues, to help stablize this before the 2.4 
release.
