[OpenLayers-Dev] Canvas in FireFox 2.0.0.1

Hi

i am working on a meshup between openlayers and firefox-xforms.
Within my Xforms-part i can trigger openlayers to zoom to a specified bbox.
This works fine if i am only using wms-layers.

If i try to add a canvas.layers, nothing works any more.
Instantiating a llayer.canvas works.
But trying to acces a method like canvas.clearCanvas() results in an error

Error: this.canvas has no properties

in my opinion it is the the command

this.canvas.getContext("2d");

Any suggestions why it doesn't work.
We have examples without xforms where it works fine ?
