The place was right, the mechanism was wrong :) I couldn't turn the text
in the body of the email into a patch. If you could create a ticket and
submit a patch following the directions on
http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/FilingTickets , I'll mark it for 2.4 and
make sure it gets reviewed.
