Hey Dev,

Just another in what will soon be a steady barrage of emails from your
friendly release manager regarding the status of 2.7.

For those of you not following along, see here for a snapshot of the
status of affairs:
http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/Release/2.7

Things are looking good, but clearly we are not going to put a cap in
it this week.

OK. Fine.

Let's say Thursday of next week? I know that mr. schaub has been out of town on
holiday all this week, and there are some things in there that he'd
want to take a
last stab at before we drop the wire.

Speaking of which, if we take a look at the current ticket distribution, we see:
http://trac.openlayers.org/query?status=new&status=assigned&status=reopened&group=owner&milestone=2.7+Release&order=priority

...most of us have less than 5 assigned to us. But Mr. Schaub has *15*. The dude
who is in the tropical sun, sipping margaritas and eating quesadillas
has *five*
times as many tickets as all the rest?

Well actually no. I only have three tickets. But Mr. Schaub, wherever
the hell he
might be right now, has fifteen. Can someone help him out and take
some of those?

Furthermore, there are about ten tickets that *noone* owns:
http://trac.openlayers.org/query?status=new&status=assigned&status=reopened&group=state&milestone=2.7+Release&owner=&order=priority

Do we not care about them? Should I shift them into the 2.8 Milestone?

Please step up.

Erik

ps. I'll take on a couple for myself right now. Heads up.
pps. I am *dead* serious about finishing this next week. No more mercy.
