another great improvement I would like to support is geoEXT.
Based on the idea of Tim Schaub, geoEXT should be an extension for EXT 
JS [1] to include OpenLayers features: Map object, toolbars, layer list, 
ecc. ecc.

I'm willing to mentor even if I would prefer to be the student...
