Wait.  Are we asking MetaCarta for money here?  I thought we were 
deciding whether or not we should position ourselves as part of the 
OSGeo sponsorship program.

As I understood, this involves putting together some paperwork - the 
paperwork that Chris started and some of us made minor revisions to.

Are we waiting until one potential sponsor (read MetaCarta) says "yes, 
we'll give you money now"?

Can't we continue to work on the language - and continue to try to woo 
sponsors (MetaCarta for example) - *after* we agree that we want to be 
listed on http://www.osgeo.org/sponsorship/opportunities ?
