[OpenLayers-Dev] LayerSwitcher redraw called multiple times with WMC

Hi all,

I am working on an add-in for WMC based applications that provides advanced
legend interactivity.  Take a look here:

Code is attached.

For some reason, IE never completes the request for the map. I am pretty
sure that it has something to do with the img buttons I am using for the
controls.  However, when I started to debug I noticed that the redraw method
on the LayerSwitcher is called multiple times when the application is
initialized.  Is this common when loading WMC layers?  If not, can someone
take a look at my code and provide some insight on what the issue(s) may be?
