Sounds good. I'd be happy to look at it. I've tried to setup examples
but they haven't worked correctly with previous attempts to implement
this, so chances for inclusion in 2.8 is now in my opinion low.

The best would be if you could attach it as a patch or complete js to
this ticket:

But if that's a problem for you, you're welcome to send it anyway you like.
