[OpenLayers-Dev] i can't get any other mpas but wms

Hi,

I'm displaying a simple map within third party tool and having weird
behaviors within...
I can only display wms map without any names for some reason, and was
wondering if anybody had similar issues?
var wms = new OpenLayers.Layer.WMS( "OpenLayers WMS",
                      "http://labs.metacarta.com/wms/vmap0",
                      {layers: 'basic'} );
This is the only thing that it can display without any errors, but is there
a basemap with names of the location instead of this map?
I'm very new to this...
For some reason, any maps that require <script.. > tags would error out in
my environment
Any help is appreciated!
