[OpenLayers-Dev] OpenLayers clobbers $ in IE

Hey-

So, OpenLayers effectively undefines any previously set value for 
window.$ - in Internet Explorer.  This is entirely weird behavior on the 
part of that specific browser.  Though there is a simple workaround for 
jQuery ($ = jQuery), I'm sure this has caused some serious headaches.

I've put up a trivial patch that fixes this issue (in IE 6, 7, and 8):
