[OpenLayers-Dev] IE 7 / 8 error: appendChild not supported

Hi,
I face a quite strange problem in map.js in IE 7 / 8.

Use case:
- Start page:
http://dev.geoext.org/sandbox/cmoullet/ux/Printer/examples/PrinterExample.html
- Click on "print" in the map toolbar
- Click on print in new window
- JS error appears: "Interface not supported" in line 921 of map.js:

works fine in FF, Safari and Chrome, so what could be the specific IE
problem ?
