[OpenLayers-Dev] guard.js

Not sure if everybody had seen this new library by Sergey Ilinksy to guard API calls (details will be in the August edition of JSMag), but it could be relevant given the recent discussion about the constructor signatures. Overhead is supposed to be 10%, but in production environments it can easily excluded.
