Hi,
please scratch my previous comment. The issue you are describing was fixed with http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/changeset/12116. So if you use the latest trunk version of OpenLayers, you should see the issue gone. Or you can apply http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/attachment/ticket/3376/IFrame.js.patch to 2.11-rc1.
