[OpenLayers-Dev] Patch for Ticket #2754

Hi all,

  I have attached patch for ticket 2754 (
http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/ticket/2754). Refer the ticket for detail
about the issue and fixes too.
  I wish to see the patch applied to next release which help me to use the
release than patching to new releases.

  Pls let me know if there are clarification on patch.
