[OpenLayers-Dev] versioned formats

Hey,

I've just attached a patch to ticket 2954 [1] to introduce a new base
class for versioned formats, i.e. formats that support multiple versions
if a specification, such as SLD, Filter etc.

This removes quite a bit of code duplication in the current code base, and
makes the code more manageable IMHO.
