[OpenLayers-Dev] git submodules for geo software

Hi,

I just got aware of them now and thought I would let you know of this
possibility:

Submodules can make meta projects where you are pulling in multiple
projects into one, making is easier to write modular software.

I'm sure most of you know this already:

However, I seem to remember that Eric had a situation, i think with the
MapFish Print module, where submodules could be used. I think it had to do
with how the documentation was generated and he was using multiple
subversion repos.
