Firstly, this belongs on the openlayers-users list - it is not about 
development of openlayers.

Your best start is look through the examples on the openlayer website to 
get a feel for the code. In your own code, you are looking for the 
map.addlayer or map.addlayers methods. To add a new layer, you probably 
want to add an extra one of these into the code with the appropriate set up.
