[OpenLayers-Dev] OpenLayers, using SLD for WMS

Hello,

I have two versions of the personal project I'm working on:

http://myowngis.com/index2.html
http://myowngis.com/index.html

Both are very simple integrations with a WMS server.

In the first example, I have tried to apply an SLD to style the hydrography
layer, but when I do, the fill disappears.  I have tried to apply a
PolygonSymbolizer to this, but then I receive an error that I can only
apply a polygon definition to a polygon layer.

I understand that the hydrography layer is a line type layer, which is why
it won't allow me to apply the polygon style.  But if that is the case,
where is the blue fill colour coming from on the default style?

Any help would be appreciated.
