Comment:

 Attached patch (v1):
  * Should work out of the box on all major browsers and the following
 renderers: SVG, VML and Canvas
  * Has modified example: vector-features-with-text.html

 Note:
  * Opera on Linux seems to misbehave (makes the width of the halo bigger
 than the original text)
  * I use document.createElement in the VML renderer
  * I'd like to reuse this.createStyle in VML (not done yet)
  * No SLD Halo support
  * No tests (yet)

 Please try it out and comment on it.
