Comment:

 When you zoom (and not only when you pan) a singleTile layer (in my case a
 WMS overlay on a tiled WMS baselayer), the image sometimes (not always)
 doesn't disappear while waiting for a new image to load. In Attachments a
 screenshot of the problem.
 There is the same problem when you try to change the list of the layer in
 the overlay with the mergeNewParams Layer function.
