 Thanks for your contribution.

 Some remarks:

   * I personally think that a method to get features by certain attributes
 is usefull, but would suggest that you write to the dev list to see if
 other openlayers commiters share this opinion
   * do we have a CLA from you? I cannot check this right now.

 About the patch:
   * please include API documentation
   * please include tests
