Comment:

 [attachment:openlayers-2897.patch] is a complete solution for the new tile
 code introduced with #3419 and #3061. It also works with
 Tile.Image.IFrame. Dragging on a fullscreen map with 6 visible layers felt
 much faster with this patch applied.

 Tests pass in Chromium 12 and Safari 5. Thanks for any review.
