 Followup to http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/ticket/2616, that'd be nice
 to have a similar feature for Google Layers, ie allowing one to use a map
 with a smaller maxExtent (ie not the whole world) and being able to
 display only a subset of Google layers.

 As of now, if i have a map with numZoomLevels=12 and
 maxResolution=2445.9849046875, when i add a google layer the zoom level on
 it is wrong, while it could be 'fixed' by adding zoomOffset.
