Comment:

 Creating synchronized maps is relatively easy with the existing map events
 at the application level. I can't think of any practical way that we would
 integrate this into the library directly that would be more useful than
 just having a writeup in our documentation. If someone would like to write
 such a writeup, they are welcome to, but we do not plan to implement this
 as an OpenLayers core feature at this time.
