 Thanks a lot for the patch @mpriour. This is almost good go commit, I'd
 just prefer if the added event was triggered before calling the layer's
 afterAdd method. And it would be great if you could add a simple unit test
 which just shows that the new events are actually triggered. Another
 goodie would be to remove the added event from Layer.Bing, but I can also
 do that if you don't get to it.
