 I have a layer with features.
 I cluster these features at one distance.
 At some later time, I find myself wishing I'd clustered them at a
 different distance.
 Therefore, I use the recluster() method to, well, recluster things.

 Only there isn't a recluster method.

 I've attached a patch which presents one method of creating it along with
 an example.
