 Bart,
 That error message means you need to restart your MapGuide server.  There
 is a MapGuide package (.mgp file) at
 http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion/ticket/428 that I have been using to test
 with.  Zoom in until you can see the building layer, before the patch,
 buildings were in the middle of roads, which gets fixed after the patch.
