 Now in 2.11 when activating the handler to draw a point follows the
 cursor. Some user has raised the question:

 > Is there a parameter or some sort of approach that can change this
 behaviour, so that the point is only shown while the user is currently
 drawing something? (see

 I worked a little on this ...

 I propose to introduce the option {{{followCursor}}}, default is true.
