 It can easily be observed when looking at the vector-feature-with-text
 example:

 http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/vector-features-with-
 text.html?renderer=SVG

 http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/vector-features-with-
 text.html?renderer=Canvas

 (look at the 'name: offset, age: 22' feature)

 It seems that Canvas positions properly (align: 'cm').
