 I've just incorporated this patch as its something I've been looking for
 for over a year now.  Works great, except for being able to set the Font
 type in IE, as listed in the TODO in the code.

 Anyone got any leads on why this doesn't work?  I've traced it right
 through but the property seems to be ignored by IE and I get a hideous
 font instead.  That's the only thing stopping me using it live now.  Looks
 great in all other browsers.
