 Looks like google may have changed something as the current version of 3.7
 is resulting in the google copyright pop-up from appearing.

 You can see this on the dev example code located here as well:

 Workaround: specify v=3.6 in your API url:

 http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&v=3.6

 This started happening (for me) Today.. Feb 7th, 2012.
