[OpenLayers-Users] Create map points from a published Google spreadsheet

Hi,

I came across this method for populating a Google Map based on a
published Google spreadsheet.  I imagine this might not be too hard to
adapt as a new OpenLayers layer type if there's a need to do so?  The
idea is that you create a Google Spreadsheet with your data (latitude,
longitude, title, description) and use the Google Spreadsheet API to
read the data into your Javascript (I think you can get an XML or JSON
feed).  See the email below for links.

easy to build custom maps from information in a Google spreadsheet.
This could be helpful for creating demos or as an option for clients
who don't have the resources to build something themselves.
