[OpenLayers-Users] Measure Distance? Ruler?

FYI, I'm hoping to have the Proj4js (or cscs) library finished up in a 
few weeks so you should also be able to use that to convert point coords 
between projections, and do the math in map projected space.

Proj4js is a port of Proj4 to Javascript, and will use 
spatialreference.org for lookup of projection parameters, if a 
particular projection isn't known already and it includes datum transforms.
